BUMPASS HELL Tree Down By LeeAnn McLaneGoetz McLaneGoetzStudioLLC.com Bumpass Hell is a 1.5 mile hike thru mountain and woods to a very hot spot of the volcanic kind. The noise of bubbling mudpots and steaming vents can be heard from the trail long before the smell of the sulphur filled air hits your nose. It is an extremely dangerous hike and beautiful very worth the long hike to see a sight few will withness in their lifetime. Not for those who are cautious of heights, rock slides or fear volcanic activity. Lassen Volcanic Park California.
