Angora Creek Restoration By LeeAnn McLaneGoetz McLaneGoetzStudioLLC.com I stopped because of the beauty but the story behind the beauty is a smokey one. The U.S. Forest Service restoration project to help nature recover from the 2007 Angora Fire near South Lake Tahoe. The project is to enhance two miles of stream channel pools to prevent erosion and help the fish as well as other aquatic life there during their migration.
