On a hot Summer day in Bodie Nevada, even the ghosts that time has forgotten seem to be buried away in the cooler part of the buildings. The dry heat of the high desert pulls the moisture out of your body and soon all you can imagine is how these people worked the goldmines, and lived long enough to enjoy the journey.
